Classic Novel Cover Illustration Design

I’m getting ready to release a novel and want a cover that instantly signals “timeless classic.” Think refined typography, balanced composition, and an illustration that feels at home beside the great literary works of the past rather than flashy trends.

Here’s what I’m after:
• A fully-illustrated front cover, spine, and back cover that carries a cohesive, elegant look.
• Print-ready files (CMYK PDF) plus a high-resolution image for e-book platforms.
• The layered source file (Illustrator or Photoshop) so minor adjustments can be made later if needed.

I’ll supply the title, author name, back-cover blurb, trim size, and any printer specifications as soon as we start. I’d like to see two or three initial concept sketches, choose one direction, then refine it through two revision rounds. Classic serif typefaces, subtle color palettes, and tasteful ornamentation are welcome; over-designed or overly modern motifs are not.
