Classic Logo for Italian Deli

I’m opening Carlone Provisions, an Italian deli and market, and I need a logo that feels as if it has been hanging above a family shopfront in Bologna for generations. The design must be classic and traditional, relying solely on the words “Carlone Provisions” to do the storytelling—with Italian flag colors.

A refined serif typeface that conveys heritage, warmth, and authenticity is essential. The letter-forms should look equally at home on carved wooden signage, linen aprons, and our jar labels. Subtle typographic flourishes are welcome, yet the overall treatment should remain clean and legible from a distance. Color is open, but muted, time-worn tones will likely suit the mood best.
