Classic Book Cover Design
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
My upcoming book-journal needs a timeless, elegant wrap: a full front and back cover that feels classic without looking dated. The front must prominently carry the title, my name, and a short subtitle. Beyond that, I’m completely open to how you realise the look—whether it leans on a refined illustration, an evocative photograph, or a purely typographic treatment. Whatever medium you favour, the result should convey sophistication and stay cohesive across the spine and back panel.
The back cover should leave space for a brief blurb and a standard barcode area. I’ll provide exact trim size, page count, and copy once we start so you can set up precise bleed and spine width. Final files need to be print-ready (300 dpi, CMYK PDF) plus an editable source file from InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop for any last-minute tweaks.
