Children’s Wildlife Journal Design

I need a talented graphic designer to turn my son’s idea of a wildlife explorer journal into a print-ready reality. The finished piece will be an A4 layout folded to A5, ready for stapled or string binding, and it must hold up on thick card stock.

The look and feel should be whimsical and playful—think bold line art, treasure-map accents, and plenty of explorer flair—yet remain strictly black-and-white friendly so parents can print at home without colour costs. Inside, I want clearly marked spots for Instax Mini photos, writing prompts for sightings and discoveries, and dedicated space for short adventure stories. I’ll supply all copy; you guide the flow and pacing.

Covers:
• Front—title, name line, and year in a fun explorer style.
• Back—clean, simple layout with room for a favourite quote.

Once the content is placed, I’d love your professional eye on any tweaks that make the spreads easier for little hands to use. A Canva-editable file is preferred for quick text amendments later, but I’m happy if you design in Adobe InDesign or Illustrator and then export to Canva.

Deliverables:
• Print-ready PDF (A4 spreads for A5 fold, CMYK, 3 mm bleed)
• Layered, editable Canva file (or transfer instructions)
