Children’s Cartoon Book Design

I’m preparing a full-colour children’s book for readers aged 8-12 and need a designer–illustrator who can bring it to life in a lively, cartoonish style. The manuscript is finished and runs roughly 30 interior pages plus a front and back cover.

You will handle everything visual: character and background illustrations, page layout, typography that feels fun yet easy to read, and a cover that will pop on both digital storefronts and physical shelves. I picture bright palettes, expressive poses, and plenty of movement that keeps pre-teens turning pages.

Adobe Illustrator or Procreate is fine for the art; I’ll assemble final print files in InDesign, so layered source files (AI, PSD, or equivalent) plus a press-ready PDF are essential. I’d like room for two rounds of revisions to fine-tune colours and pacing once we place the text.
