Casual Linen Dress Pattern Design
Budget: $8 – $15 CAD
I have a handful of rough pattern blocks for a casual-wear capsule and now need them turned into fully resolved designs. The goal is to refine the existing concepts and deliver production-ready patterns that can go straight to sampling.
Here’s what I already have
• hand-drawn pattern outlines, inspiration photos and a colour palette
• a clear vision of fit: relaxed, easy to wear, breathable
What I need from you
• digital flat sketches and front/back technical drawings (Illustrator or similar)
• full pattern files in layered PDF or DXF, ready for plotting
• a concise tech pack: construction notes, seam allowances, fabric yield, and measurement chart
• basic grading for two additional sizes once the master size is approved
Fabric focus is 100 % linen, so seam finishes and ease allowances should be calculated with that weave and drape in mind. If you prefer working in Clo3D, Gerber or Optitex, let me know—whatever streamlines sampling is fine by me.
Once I sign off on the first dress, the same workflow will apply to the remaining silhouettes in the capsule. I’m happy to answer any questions about silhouette, trims or trims sourcing; just send a quick message and we can lock in timelines.
