Card Game Artwork Reproduction with Additional Components
Budget: $750 – $2,500 USD
We are a game developer working to bring a game back to market. We are seeking a graphic designer/illustrator to create digital versions of the original game artwork to meet current digital production requirements. In addition, as part of the graphic design package, our selected graphic designer/illustrator will produce the original game logo and a modified version for the box side, the game box templates (top and bottom), and a custom company logo for the publisher. We may also add up to five additional cards. The original artwork is covered by existing copyrights which are held by the publisher; however, the publisher will require the copyrights, etc., for all new artwork developed as part of this project.
The game consists of 30 card designs which will need to be faithfully replicated from the originals (with a few minor modifications). In addition, 15 of those designs will be required in four different colors associated with different point values of the cards. The card artwork will need to be extended in the print template files to provide sufficient margin and bleed. In addition, some cards must align with components on other cards. The images attached to this request provide an example of the original artwork to be recreated as well as an example of the four different color cards in a card set.
We will provide box and card templates, photographic images of all original game artwork an logos, as well as basic concept sketches and text for the game box. Our expected deliverables are completed game box templates (top and bottom), game card decks (game card template for each came card), logos, etc., in at least .pdf, .png, and .jpg format.
The selected designer will be expected to review our planned manufacturer’s graphic design guidebook for exact requirements. Work must be completed in Adobe InDesign and Illustrator (not in Photoshop) using CMYK color modes and FOGRA39 formatting and conform with the requirements of our planned game manufacturer to ensure high print quality. The selected designer would be a preferred provider of design for potential future extensions of the game.
