Car Dealership Building Permit Drawings + Civil Engineering for Prefab Office – Chilliwack, BC

We are applying for a Building Permit with the City of Chilliwack, BC for a prefabricated office (not a shipping container) and require full professional drawings + documentation for submission.

The City requires the following:
Scope of Work
1. Site Plan for Car Dealership (to scale, metric)
o Professionally prepared, digitally drawn.
o Show location of prefab office trailer, setbacks, access, parking, etc.
o Must reflect City of Chilliwack zoning bylaw requirements.

2. Architectural Drawings (already provided by manufacturer)
o We already have a full set of architectural drawings from the prefab manufacturer (floor plan, elevations, etc.).
o These may require minor adjustments or improvements to meet City of Chilliwack Building Permit requirements (e.g., coloured elevations, accessibility notes, emergency lighting).

3. Structural Engineering (provided by manufacturer)
o Structural anchorage and foundation details are already stamped and provided by the prefab manufacturer.
o These documents may only need to be formatted or coordinated with the final submission package.

4. Civil Engineering (Required)
o Prepare and stamp drainage + servicing plans as required by the City of Chilliwack.
o Provide any supporting documentation for permit submission.

5. Application Support Documents
o Deliver drawings and plans in PDF + CAD/DWG format.
o Ensure the full package is ready for submission to the City of Chilliwack.

Notes
• We (the owner) will prepare the authorization letter ourselves.
• Prefab supplier can provide basic building drawings, but they need to be completed and formatted to City standards.
• Work must be done to the City’s requirements for Building Permit submission.

Deliverables
• Scaled site plan for Car Dealership (PDF + CAD).
• Complete architectural drawing set (floor plan, elevations, accessibility, lighting).
• Civil engineering stamp for drainage & services.
• Final package ready to submit to the City of Chilliwack.
