Book Digital & Print Formating
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am looking for a skilled designer/publishing professional to help finalize the digital and print formats of a completed poetry and illustration book. The book’s pages are already fully designed and available in Adobe Illustrator files.
Your task will be to:
Prepare a print-ready PDF (high resolution, proper margins, bleed, and printer specifications).
Prepare a reflowable and fixed-layout EPUB that is fully compatible with major e-readers (Kindle, Apple Books, Kobo, etc.).
Ensure proper formatting for both illustrations and text so that the visual integrity of the book is preserved across digital platforms.
Provide guidance on best practices for digital publishing, if needed.
Requirements:
Strong experience with Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or equivalent tools.
Proven experience preparing books for both print and digital publishing (PDF and EPUB).
Familiarity with e-book formatting standards (EPUB 3, Kindle, etc.).
Attention to detail to maintain design integrity across formats.
Deliverables:
Print-ready PDF (final, proof-checked).
EPUB (fixed layout preferred, unless reflowable is better for reading experience).
Additional Information:
The manuscript is a collection of poetry and illustrations (visual-heavy layout).
All design files (AI) are complete; no redesign required—just formatting and finalization.
