Bold SWAT Patch Logo Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m commissioning a bold, aggressive patch logo for my agency’s (Coahoma County Sheriff's Office) Special Response Team, SRT for short (our SWAT unit) and I’d like you to own the full design process from concept to final files.
Design guidance
The patch must capture a strong tactical feel. Core imagery should weave together:
• a stylised shield or badge as the base shape
• an eagle (or other raptor) in dynamic pose
• subtle yet unmistakable weapons accents, such as an M4 Rifle, Knife, or Sword
• a DELTA symbol—think clean triangle worked naturally into the composition
possibly a thunder bolt added also.
Colour palette is locked to black, dark spruce green, and silver-tan. Feel free to explore gradients, metallic effects, or distressed textures as long as the palette stays disciplined and the result stays stitch-friendly.
Deliverables
• Three initial concepts in vector format (AI or EPS)
• One refined final design with any requested tweaks
• Scalable vector master + high-res PNG with transparent background
• A flat colour version optimised for embroidery, plus a quick mock-up on a uniform shoulder to confirm proportions
Acceptance criteria
The final artwork must remain crisp at 3 in (76 mm) diameter, read clearly when reduced, and reproduce cleanly in both digital print and embroidered thread.
If anything in the brief needs clarification, let me know up front so we can move fast. I’m ready to get started as soon as you are.
