Seeking Creative Designers for New Gym Location Signage
We are excited to announce a banner design contest for our fitness gym facility, recently relocated to a vibrant new space! We are looking for talented designers to help us create eye-catching signage for our new awning.
Contest Brief
Our gym has moved to a new address, and we need a fresh, inviting banner for the exterior awning to help attract clients and make our presence known in the area. We want the new design to capture the energy and spirit of our gym, while maintaining a visual connection to our prior location’s signage.
Design Requirements
• Banner Placement: The banner will only be installed on the front vertical portion of the awning above the gym entrance.
• Banner Dimensions: 20 feet 6 inches (length) x 1 foot 4 inches (height). Please ensure your design fits within these dimensions.
• Logo Usage: We have provided our gym’s logo. You may use the entire logo or a portion of it in your design—creativity is encouraged as long as branding remains recognizable.
• Background Options: The banner can have a white background (similar to the adjacent business), or the design can be applied directly to the dark awning if it visually complements the gym’s look. Preview both possibilities if you wish!
• Reference Photos: Photos of the previous location's awning design and the new location's awning are provided for guidance and inspiration.
• Style: We welcome modern, dynamic, and professional designs that reflect the energy and inclusiveness of a community fitness center.
Submission Guidelines
• Please submit your design as high-resolution files suitable for large format printing (vector files preferred: AI, EPS, or PDF; also include a JPEG/PNG preview).
• Include mockups showing your design on the awning at the new location (using the provided awning photo, if possible).
• Describe your design choices, especially regarding color, logo placement, and any creative elements.
