Anime-Style Self-Development Journal Design

I’m putting together a personal-growth journal that feels as inspiring on the outside as the work that will go inside it. I need a full layout created in two formats—an interactive digital edition (PDF/e-book) and a print-ready A4 book.

Here’s the vision: an anime-influenced cover rendered in detailed illustration, with the same aesthetic echoed subtly throughout the interior spreads. Think clean but vibrant page backgrounds, character or scenery cameos in the margins, and seamless space for prompts such as daily intentions, habit trackers, reflection pages, and weekly goal check-ins. Every element should look cohesive and “cool,” never cluttered.

Deliverables I’ll need from you
• A print-ready CMYK PDF for A4 (including bleed and crop marks)
• A reflowable digital version (interactive PDF or EPUB) that keeps the illustrations sharp on screens
• Source files (Adobe InDesign/Illustrator or equivalent) so I can update prompts later
• A short brand/style guide listing fonts and color palette for consistency across future volumes

Acceptance criteria
• Cover features original, high-resolution anime artwork, not stock images
• Interior grid aligns perfectly for double-sided printing; no elements lost in the gutter
• All text styles embedded or converted to outline; nothing goes missing when opened elsewhere
• Final files pass a quick pre-press check (bleeds, color mode, image resolution)
