Drupal to AEM Migration - Corporate Website Rebuild

Job ID: 40471185

Budget: $10,000 – $20,000 USD

Our mid-level corporate site is currently running on Drupal; the next phase of our digital roadmap moves everything to Adobe Experience Manager so the team can benefit from markedly better content management. The build must surface three pillars inside AEM: a genuinely user-friendly authoring interface, robust workflow management for multi-step approvals, and tightly organised digital asset management that keeps brand files in one governed place.

Scope of work
– Audit the existing Drupal codebase, templates, modules and live content to size the move.
– Architect and stand up the AEM author and publish environments, mapping every current template and component to their AEM counterparts.
– Execute the full content migration, carrying forward metadata, taxonomy, redirects and SEO equity.
– Configure and test custom workflows that reflect our current editorial process.
– Migrate all media into AEM Assets with folder structures and permissions that mirror our brand guidelines.
– Run QA, performance checks and user-acceptance rounds before final cut-over.

Acceptance criteria
• All pages render pixel-perfect in AEM on staging and production.
• Workflows trigger the correct notifications and status changes.
• Assets are searchable and version-tracked within AEM DAM.
• No broken links, 404s or SEO regressions post-launch.

When replying, share solid experience leading Drupal-to-AEM (or comparable CMS-to-AEM) migrations, noting any performance metrics or lessons learned that kept content authors happy and business stakeholders confident.
