InDesign Layout for Photo Memoir
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I have a finished manuscript—roughly 160 pages of a first-person memoir—together with a collection of photographs that illustrate key moments in the story. I now need the whole project laid out professionally in Adobe InDesign so it is press-ready for both digital and offset printing.
The work involves: setting up the document to the trim size I will supply, creating master pages, applying coherent paragraph and character styles, placing and sizing each photograph with proper resolution, and balancing text flow so chapters open cleanly without awkward widows or orphans. Page numbers, running headers, a simple contents page, and front-/back-matter styling are part of the brief as well.
Please maintain a classic, readable book aesthetic—think comfortable margins, elegant serif body text, and unobtrusive sans-serif captions. All photos will arrive as high-resolution JPEGs or TIFFs; you may need to colour-correct the occasional shot for consistent tone.
