Fix Amazon Book Formatting Issues
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
My illustrated children’s title, “ReadKidz,” is ready for Kindle Direct Publishing but the PDF I have refuses to play nicely with Amazon’s fixed-layout requirements.
Right now the text drifts out of alignment, images appear off-center or vanish on preview, and page breaks land in odd places. I need those three problems resolved and the file delivered back to me in a format Amazon will accept without additional tweaks—ideally a validated fixed-layout EPUB or a KPF file created through Kindle Kids’ Book Creator / Kindle Create.
You may work in InDesign, Sigil, Kindle Create, or any other reliable toolchain; what matters is that the final upload preview in KDP matches the original design, page-for-page. Once complete I’d like a short note explaining anything I should keep in mind if I update the book later.
If you have solid experience turning picture books from PDF into Amazon-ready fixed layouts, this should be a quick, satisfying win for both of us.
