Design Print-Ready Book Cover & Mock-Up
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
I’m looking for a talented human graphic designer with a clear eye for urgent, minimalist aesthetics — think: breaking news, red-alert simplicity, NYT Bestseller list kind of punch.
This is for a non-fiction science book grounded in bioaccumulation, detox, and high-stakes modern health topics. Your design must be bold, minimal, and impactful — possibly text-only. It should scream, “This is urgent — you need to read this now.” (Mockup is attached. I also have a spec sheet with exact wording, which is different from the mockup).
Deliverables:
- A print-ready front cover (standard 7"x10", full-bleed)
- A series of 3D mock-ups for use in ads and landing pages
- High-res files (PDF, PNG, layered PSD or AI)
Ideal Designer Has:
- A strong portfolio of minimalist book covers
- A knack for visual urgency without visual clutter
- Experience in direct response, marketing, or science/medical book design
To Apply:
Start your proposal by answering this question in exactly three words: What is beauty?
Then — and only then — tell me:
1. What you bring to the table creatively
2. Why this project specifically caught your attention
3. The closest comparable project you’ve worked on
**Proposals that do not begin with a three-word answer to the question above will not be read.**
