Professional Vector Logo Refinement -- 2
Budget: $15 – $25 AUD
We need a graphic designer to refine our existing logo, not redesign it.
Business: Heavy Foundations Pty Ltd
Brand phrase: CALL IN THE HEAVIES
Important
This is a cleanup and professional refinement job, not a rebrand.
What must stay
- forward italic slant
- internal dark inset / shadow inside the text, representing excavation depth, a dug hole, or a basement void
- sharp angular geometry inspired by crisp concrete capping beam edges and retaining-wall geometry
- strong emphasis on THE HEAVIES
- prefer to keep the sizing of CALL IN small, THE medium, HEAVIES large, and current positioning relative to one-another
- bold industrial / construction feel
What needs improvement
- cleaner kerning and spacing
- more consistent internal depth geometry across the letters
- simpler, more disciplined outline and shadow treatment
- more professional appearance for website, letterheads, quotes, invoices, and signage
- strong visibility when applied over royal / navy blue excavator paint
- practical reproduction for machine decals and embroidery
Feel we want
- engineered
- professional
- architectural
- bold
- high-legibility
- industrial
Feel we do NOT want
- esports / gaming
- cartoon bevels
- flashy 3D chrome
- futuristic tech style
- generic racing graphics
- soft rounded styling
Main use order
- website, letterheads, quotes, invoices, and coreflute fence signs
- machine decals on excavator boom arms and ute doors (likely over royal blue)
- embroidery and helmets
Brand colours outside logo are likely to become 1st: navy, sand, royal blue 2nd: white, black 3rd: Teal, Fluro pink
Deliverables required
- polished primary logo
- simplified formal version for documents
- machine decal version
- embroidery-friendly version
- black-only version
- white-only version
- editable vector source files
- PDF, SVG, PNG exports
Notes
The existing concept has meaning and should be preserved:
- the internal shadow represents that we dig holes / basements
- the slant suggests both speed and perspective into the “hole”
- the sharp edges are meant to reference clean concrete capping beam / retaining wall geometry
Please show examples of previous logo refinement / vector cleanup / construction or industrial branding work, not just generic logo portfolios.
