Magento Upgrade & Adobe commerce &Creative Cloud

Our Magento 1 store is ready for its jump to Adobe Commerce, and every critical piece of the current experience has to come with it. I’ve zipped the full codebase and database dump into a Dropbox folder, waiting for the right developer to unpack.

Scope of the migration
• Preserve custom payment methods exactly as they work today.
• Carry over all user accounts, including order history and saved addresses, so returning shoppers see a seamless transition.
• Recreate the entire product catalog with its existing category structure and attributes.
• Re-implement the few third-party integrations we currently rely on (inventory feed and shipping label generator), making sure they play nicely in the new Adobe Commerce environment.

Adobe Creative Cloud touchpoints
Alongside the backend work, the store’s daily content flow needs refining:
– Use Photoshop to optimise product imagery and automate bulk resizing so page-loads stay snappy.
– Import and iterate on Adobe XD prototypes that outline minor UI tweaks we have planned for checkout and account pages.
– Hook Adobe Analytics into the storefront, validating that data layers surface the same customer journey events we track today, then demo simple reports proving the connection.

Acceptance criteria
1. Adobe Commerce site loads on our staging server with no critical errors and complete data parity to Magento 1.
2. Custom payments and migrated integrations pass end-to-end test orders.
3. XD-driven layout updates render correctly across modern browsers and mobile.
4. Site performance meets or exceeds current Google Lighthouse scores, aided by optimised imagery.
5. Adobe Analytics dashboards show live traffic, conversions, and product views within 24 hours of DNS cut-over.

Hand-off
Once these boxes are ticked, share a deployment plan for pushing to production and a brief runbook covering common admin tasks under Magento 2/Adobe Commerce.
