Flatten AI Design for Vinyl
Budget: £10 – £20 GBP
I have an Adobe Illustrator file that still contains the inner cut lines from earlier editing rounds. Before I send this artwork off for production, I need the file fully flattened so only the final artwork remains—no hidden paths, no stray anchor points, and definitely no secondary cut layers.
The end use is large-format vinyl printing, and once printed the piece will be contour-cut into shape, so a single clean outer cut path must stay intact while every unnecessary internal line is removed. I will supply the current .ai file; you’ll return:
• A flattened Illustrator file (same artboard size, CMYK)
• One clearly labeled layer with the outer cut path, ready for the RIP software
• A PDF proof showing the outline view so I can double-check before sign-off
I need the file to look exactly as per screenshot when printed, and just one outer path, and one each inner paths for the number 8.
Please handle everything directly in Illustrator—no rasterization or resolution loss. If you’re comfortable with pathfinder cleanup, outline management, and pre-press checks, this should be a quick task.
