Convert Parking Map to Vector
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I have a low-resolution JPG/PDF of our housing co-op’s parking layout—essentially a screen grab from Google Street View—and I need it redrawn as clean, fully-scalable artwork. The goal is to replicate every stall, driveway, building outline and label in an Adobe Illustrator file so we can edit stall names later.
While you rebuild the map, please apply clear, contrasting colours to both the Visitor and Resident parking areas; I’m happy to discuss palette ideas so long as the two groups read instantly at a glance. The rest of the map (roads, curbs, text) should remain simple and legible.
Deliverable:
• 100 % vector artwork in .AI format, neatly layered and named
• A PDF export for quick sharing
• Any fonts or swatches used
Accuracy matters more than artistic licence, so tracing the original proportions correctly is essential. Because we’re a non-profit, keeping the process efficient and affordable is appreciated, but quality and editability are non-negotiable. If this sounds straightforward to you, let’s get started.
