Beginner InDesign Layout Tutoring
Budget: £18 – £36 GBP
I’m preparing a high-quality book and need help shaping it in Adobe InDesign. I also edit a quarterly newsletter. I have used Microsoft Publisher but it is being discontinued in 2026.
I’m a total novice in InDesign so I’m looking for clear, practical guidance focused on layout design—how to set up master pages, manage grids and margins, flow long text cleanly, handle images, and keep everything print-ready.
Here’s how I picture the collaboration:
• A number of real-time lessons (screen-sharing or in person if you’re nearby) using my actual book files so every tip is immediately applied.
• Short practice exercises or reference notes after each session to lock in what we cover.
• The freedom to ask quick follow-up questions between sessions when I hit snags.
By the end I want to feel confident creating consistent page layouts, adjusting typography within those layouts, exporting proofs, and knowing my final file will pass a printer’s pre-flight check.
When you reply, please let me know:
• Your experience teaching true beginners.
• Any sample materials or cheat-sheets you like to provide.
• Proposed session availability.
Looking forward to learning the ropes of InDesign layout design with your guidance.
