1986 Wedding Video Restoration
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have two digital transfers of my 1986 wedding that need to be transformed into a single, polished keepsake. The raw footage still shows its VHS origins—colors are dull, the picture is soft, and the sound has that unmistakable tape hiss. I’d like you to:
• Balance and enrich the colour so skin-tones look natural and the décor regains its original warmth.
• Sharpen the overall image and reduce any VHS grain without introducing artifacts.
• Clean the audio track—removing hiss, hum, and volume jumps—so voices during vows and toasts come through clearly.
• Trim out the blank sections that appear between camera stops and stitch the two source files into one seamless video with smooth transitions.
You may work in DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere + Audition, or any comparable professional suite; I’m flexible as long as the end product is high-quality. Please deliver a final master in MP4 (H.264), plus any project files so future tweaks are possible.
