Echo Reduction Tutoring in Audition
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are complete beginners in Adobe Audition and we keep battling room echo for just one speaker in my podcast recordings (speakers are captured with two USB mics straight into my computer). I need someone who can walk me through, in real time, the exact workflow for cleaning up that hollow echo reverb sound on the one person so my episodes feel studio-tight rather than “spare-bedroom”.
Here’s what I have in mind:
• One live, screen-shared session (Zoom or similar) where you demonstrate and we follow along inside Audition. I will provide samples of problem podcasts.
• A focus on the practical tools—DeReverb, noise reduction, EQ tweaks, maybe light gating—showing me why and when to use each.
• Settings or presets saved at the end so I can apply them quickly to future tracks.
• A short cheat-sheet recap afterward so I don’t forget the steps.
If there are simple mic-technique or room-treatment tips that complement the software fix, I’m all ears, but the heart of the lesson must stay inside Audition. By the end I should be able to take a raw podcast file and get it sounding clean without hunting through menus or blindly tweaking sliders.
