Audiobook Sound Design & Music
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
My narration is already recorded and edited; now I want the storytelling to come alive with a tailored layer of music, ambient beds and spot FX. The atmosphere needs to shift naturally from scene to scene rather than sit under the whole book as a single loop.
For the music, I specifically want a cinematic, orchestral feel that best underscores the mood—subtle drones, light piano, textured soundscapes, foley, or any creative blend that stays out of the narrator’s way.
Please deliver:
1. A mastered stereo mix for each chapter that meets Audible/ACX specs (peak ≤ -3 dB, RMS ‑18 to -23 dB, noise floor ≤ -60 dB).
2. Separate dialogue-only and SFX/Music stem files so I can make future tweaks.
3. A simple cue sheet with timecodes and licensing status for every track or effect you use.
I work with high-quality WAV files.
Quick, collaborative revisions after the first pass will help us nail the pacing and levels.
If you thrive on detailed sound design and cinematic scoring, let’s give these chapters the immersive treatment they deserve.
