Adobe Audition Voice Editing Lessons

Job ID: 39895261

Budget: $50 – $0 USD

I’m comfortable cutting video in Premiere, but I’m a true beginner in Adobe Audition. I want structured, one-on-one coaching that takes me from opening a raw recording to delivering a polished voice-over track.

My main goal is to master voice-over editing, with an emphasis on mixing and mastering so my narration sounds broadcast-ready. Please build the sessions around real-world examples: think noise-free dialogue, balanced levels, and a subtle final sheen that pairs well with video.

I learn fastest through live screen-shares, clear explanations, and short homework files I can practice on between calls. I’d appreciate a brief roadmap up front so I know what we’ll cover each week and how we’ll measure progress.

Key areas to cover:
• Efficient workspace setup and file management that feels familiar to a Premiere user.
• Step-by-step mixing and mastering techniques: EQ, compression, limiting, and loudness normalization.
• Practical use of Audition’s real-time effects rack and essential sound panel for spoken word.
• Saving presets and building a repeatable template I can apply to future projects.

Deliverables I’d like by the end:
1. A personalized workflow guide (PDF or Google Doc) outlining every step we covered.
2. At least one fully edited voice-over project file I can reference.
3. Session recordings so I can replay anything we covered.

If this sounds like your teaching style, let’s schedule an initial call and map out the lesson plan.

I am becoming a DJ on a radio program. I will announce music pre and post then play it.
