I have a 5-slide presentation titled "Next Gen Tax Reporting Automation" for a large enterprise. It covers both Direct Tax and Indirect Tax automation across 6 initiative tracks: 34(A) Tax Report Generation, 26AS Reconciliation, Form 16A Auto Mailing, Reversal of ITC u/s 17(5), GSTR-2B Reconciliation, and EXIM Process Automation. Vendors involved include Deloitte, BDO, EY, PwC, Trezix, and an internal IT Team.
Slide 1 — Executive Summary:
Three-column layout. Left column is the Problem Statement (fragmented systems, manual processes, multiple tools, compliance risk). Center column is Project Significance shown as a circular ecosystem diagram (enterprise-scale operations, high transaction volume, multi-stakeholder ecosystem, automation transformation). Right column is Expected Benefits (cost savings, time savings, reduced manual effort, better visibility). Bottom strip shows the journey: Assess → POC → Build → Implement. The 6 initiative track icons are displayed at the top as a horizontal strip.
Slide 2 — Brief Context & Scope:
Six module cards arranged in a 3×2 grid, split into two sections — Direct Tax (navy blue header) covering modules 01, 02, 03 and Indirect Tax (green header) covering modules 04, 05, 06. Each card has a number, an icon, a module name, and the responsible vendor/team logo. Bottom section has two panels: Significance (high compliance impact, improves data accuracy, strengthens controls) and Benefits (time and cost savings, better visibility and reconciliation, improved efficiency).
Slide 3 — Expected Outcome & Implementation Roadmap:
A horizontal timeline across the top spanning May 2026 to August 2026 with 5 milestones: Initiation & Assessment → POC/Assessment by Mid Jun → Quotes/Vendor Finalization → Sign-off/UAT (Build) → Full Implementation. Below the timeline, 6 parallel swim lanes (one per initiative track) each show their current status badge and 4 sequential milestone nodes with labels. All 6 lanes visually converge into a central "Unified Tax Ecosystem — One Platform. All Taxes. One Truth." target/bullseye graphic. Right side lists expected outcomes per track: 34(A) auto creation and validation, 26AS TAN-PAN matching and full reco, 16A audit-compliant SAP auto-PDF and auto email, ITC automated reversal computation, GSTR-2B improved ITC claims, EXIM single source of truth.
Slide 4 — Summary of Findings & Recommendations:
Clean two-panel layout with a vertical connector spine in the center. Left panel (Key Findings): 01 POC inputs fragmented across groups, 02 Limited cross-team visibility, 03 Limited process documentation. Right panel (Recommendations): 01 Centralized POC tracker, 02 Centralized progress dashboard, 03 User guide repository. Each finding connects to its recommendation via a bold arrow passing through an icon badge on the central spine.
Slide 5 — Key Learnings:
Seven learnings displayed as a horizontal chain of numbered circular icon badges connected by dashed arrows, left to right: 01 EXIM Process in Real Life → 02 Tax is Deeply Intricate at Scale → 03 Data is Massive in Large Companies → 04 Corporate Decisions are Layered → 05 Scope Always Evolves → 06 Documentation Drives Execution → 07 Coordination is Everything. Below this chain is a large illustrative landscape — a winding road leading toward a mountain peak with a blue flag, rendered in a flat blue monochrome illustration style with pine trees, snow-capped mountains, and birds. This slide functions as the closing reflective summary of the internship/project experience.
Overall Design Language — Cipla Brand Identity:
Primary brand color is Cipla Blue (#233F8C) — RGB (35, 63, 140), Pantone 7687C. This deep royal blue is the dominant color used for headings, icon backgrounds, badges, borders, and key UI elements. Secondary palette built around Cipla Blue:
Primary: #233F8C — Cipla Blue (headers, filled badges, primary CTAs)
Light Blue: #4A6CC3 — hover states, secondary icons, connector lines
Pale Blue: #D6E0F5 — card backgrounds, section fills, subtle shading
White: #FFFFFF — slide backgrounds, text on dark fills
Dark Navy: #152560 — slide titles, bold text, deep contrast elements
Accent Green: #1A7A4A — used only for Indirect Tax modules (ITC, GSTR-2B, EXIM) to distinguish from Direct Tax
Neutral Gray: #F4F6FB — background panels, table rows
Typography is clean sans-serif (Inter or Cipla's internal font if available), all caps for slide titles, sentence case for body. Minimalist flat vector icons in white on Cipla Blue fills. No gradients, no shadows. Corporate pharmaceutical aesthetic — authoritative, clean, trustworthy.
