Cartoon Five-Scene Adobe Animation

Job ID: 40626025

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

Here is how my professor wrote the instructions:

"Scene 1

Create a Title page with the words “The Bus” on it

Put the script “The Bus” under a mask layer

Animate the mask to reveal the title

Scene 2

Create a city with instances of one building

Create traffic using instances of one car

Going from left to right create a yellow bus driving through the city

When you create the bus, create wheels that turn (a wheel symbol within the bus symbol)

Scene 3

A close up of a person in the bus as it drives by. His/her eyes blink (symbol within a symbol). Don't miss this one

Scene 4

Create a winter scene in the country

Clouds gather for a storm against a gradient sky (create the sky in your gradient color panel)

Have 2 dark storm clouds moving towards the center of the scene. It starts to snow

The bus enters the winter scene

Scene 5

The person in the bus sits on a chair in front of a fire

Create the fire in the fireplace as a movie symbol

Over the scene have the words “The End” appear. (write the words, create a symbol and animate over time from 0 alpha to 100."

I’m putting together a short, self-contained animation in Adobe Animate and I need the full project built from start to finish. The piece is light-hearted and firmly cartoonish, driven by a bright, vibrant palette throughout all five scenes.

Here’s the flow of the short:

• Scene 1 – A masked title reveal introduces the story, wiping on smoothly as though it’s being un-curtained.

• Scene 2 – We cut to a lively city street. A bus and a few cars glide across the stage; wheels rotate convincingly and the whole background scrolls to sell motion.

• Scene 3 – Inside the bus we meet the passenger. I don’t have an existing design, so you’ll create a fun, cartoon character from scratch and animate subtle eye blinks to keep the shot alive.

• Scene 4 – The setting shifts into a snowstorm. I’d like swirling, looping snow particles and wind streaks that feel playful rather than realistic.

• Scene 5 – We end by a cozy fireplace. Flames flicker, logs glow, and “The End” fades in gently before everything settles.

Key points

• Style: Cartoonish, no attempts at photorealism.
• Colour treatment: Bold, bright and vibrant hues carry through every scene so the whole piece feels unified.
• Character: Original bus passenger design, sized and rigged for straightforward motion-tween animation.

Deliverables

1. Layered .FLA containing all five completed scenes, properly labelled.
2. An exported 1080p .MP4 for quick review.

I’ll handle sound after animation, so no audio is required. Once I approve the final render, please supply the editable file so I can tweak timings if needed.
