Split Harrison’s PDF by Specialty

Job ID: 40463504

Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR

I have the complete Harrison’s Principles of Internal Medicine saved as a single, very large PDF. Your task is to break it into separate, specialty-specific PDFs—Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Endocrinology, Nephrology, Pulmonology, Neurology, Rheumatology, Infectious Diseases, and so on—while keeping every page’s quality and layout untouched.

You will find this straightforward because the file already contains a clean, clickable table of contents; use it to pinpoint the exact page ranges for each section and extract them accurately. No additional layout tweaks or re-formatting are necessary: I simply need the book split and the pieces saved. Each output file must be named exactly by its section title, for example Cardiology.pdf, Gastroenterology.pdf, etc., so everything is instantly searchable.

I’m looking for someone comfortable with tools such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, PDFsam, or any reliable command-line utility that can preserve bookmarks, fonts, and resolution during extraction. An eagle eye for page boundaries is essential—chapters can run long and often blend into the next discipline, so your cut points have to be precise.

Deliverables (within 2 days of acceptance):
• Individually saved, specialty-named PDFs covering every section of the original book
• The same visual fidelity, page numbering, and internal links the source file has
• A brief confirmation note listing the start–end pages you used for each split

If you have prior experience reorganising long technical or medical documents, mention it; that background will be a plus. I’ll supply the PDF immediately after we start so you can dive in without delay.
