Print-Ready Catalog PDF Adjustment
Budget: €8 – €30 EUR
My multi-page product catalog, originally laid out in Canva Pro, is ready for its final pre-press polish. The printer has sent through specifications that require a few precise tweaks, and I need someone who is comfortable turning PDFs into truly print-ready files.
Here is what still needs to be done:
• Covers – verify the current dimensions, then add a 3 mm bleed on every edge.
• Interior Part 1 – add the same 3 mm bleed.
• Interior Part 2 – bleed is already correct; simply make sure no image sits below the page marker at the bottom.
• Text – convert all interior body text to pure black (K = 100 %) so no CMYK or rich-black sneaks through.Aquí tienes la traducción al español:
> Everything is already in pure black, but please do a final check to make sure it is.
The goal is a single PDF that meets standard offset-printing guidelines, with crops/bleeds intact and everything positioned perfectly.
If you work daily with Adobe Acrobat Pro, PitStop, InDesign pre-flight tools, or similar PDF-fix utilities, this should be straightforward. Let me know:
1. Your estimated turnaround time once you receive the file.
2. Your confidence level handling bleed, colour separation and page markers for a product catalog.
As soon as I know the timeframe works, I’ll send you the current PDF and the printer’s spec sheet so you can get started.
