Step 1: Conversion Process (Replicable for You Later)
1. Open PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro: Select the first PDF, go to Tools > Print Production > Preflight.
2. Create Custom Preflight Profile: Click Create Profile, name it "Letter to A4 (No Margin Shift)", then add these rules:
◦ Under Pages > Page size and orientation, select "Change page size" → Set "Target page size" to A4 (210 x 297 mm).
◦ Under Pages > Scaling, select "Scale content to fit target page size" → Set "Scaling method" to Proportional (avoids stretching) and "Margins" to Preserve original (prevents shifting).
3. Run the Profile: Apply the custom profile to the PDF; Acrobat automatically adjusts content to A4 without cutting or artifacts.
4. Verify & Save: Open the output PDF in Preview/Chrome to confirm A4 size, then save as a new file (e.g., "OriginalName_A4.pdf") to retain the original.
5. Repeat for All 5 PDFs: Follow Steps 1–4 for the remaining files.
Step 2: What You’ll Receive
• 5 Corrected PDFs: Each named with "_A4" suffix, opening as A4 in all standard viewers (Acrobat, Preview, browsers).
• All Original Elements Intact: Headers, footers, hyperlinks, bookmarks, and interactive forms work exactly as before.
• No Artifacts/Extra Space: Content is proportionally scaled to fit A4, with no blurriness, cutting, or unnecessary white space.
