OCR PDF to Editable Word

I have a 290-page PDF made up entirely of high-quality scanned images. I need every page converted into fully editable English text inside a single Word document. A straight “image-in-Word” export will not work; the text must be selectable, searchable, and ready for revision.

Because the source scans are clear and sharp, I expect accurate OCR with minimal manual correction. Exact replication of the page layout is not important—basic paragraph structure is enough—so feel free to ignore decorative spacing or complex formatting as long as the reading order and headings remain logical.

Deliverable
• One .docx file containing the entire text, proof-read and free of obvious OCR errors.

I’ll review the file by running a quick search on random terms and comparing them to the original PDF; any major mismatch will need fixing before final sign-off. If you use tools such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, ABBYY FineReader, or Tesseract with post-processing, please mention that briefly when you send the first sample page.
