Compress 6 GB PDF for KDP
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
The quality of the pdf must remain the same because i am printing the book. The quality needs to remain the same to get the best possible print for the images. no placement bids. no generic bids.
you get paid once the pdf is accepted by amazon. not before
I have a single PDF that currently weighs in at roughly 6 GB. I need it streamlined to about 650 MBso it can be uploaded to Amazon KDP without triggering their size limits or quality warnings.
What matters to me:
• All pages, images, and embedded fonts must remain intact—no broken links, missing graphics, or layout shifts.
• Resolution should stay high enough for KDP print-on-demand standards; text must stay crisp and images clear.
• Final file must open quickly and pass KDP’s previewer without errors.
Send back:
1. The optimized PDF ready for KDP.
2. A short note on the compression method or software you used (e.g., Adobe Acrobat Pro, Ghostscript, PDF Optim, etc.) so I can replicate future updates if needed.
If you hit the 650 MB target while meeting the above criteria, the job is done. If you foresee a smarter way—splitting interiors, light image downsampling, or tweaking color profiles—let me know upfront.
I’ll share a transfer link to the original file as soon as we start.
