Bulk Typed PDF Retyping

I have a set of more than fifty scanned, typed pages—some as JPEG images, others as non-searchable PDFs—that must be turned into one clean, fully editable PDF. The finished document needs to look exactly like the original: same page breaks, spacing, and, most critically, every footnote or endnote kept in place and formatted with proper PDF linking.

Feel free to run OCR in tools such as Adobe Acrobat Pro or ABBYY FineReader to speed things up, but every character has to be proof-read manually. I will review side-by-side with the source, so I’m expecting near-perfect accuracy.

Deliverables
• One consolidated, editable, searchable PDF replicating the layout of all source pages
• Footnotes/endnotes correctly linked and positioned
• Text verified for spelling and formatting consistency

Acceptance criteria
1. At least 99 % text accuracy
2. Identical page, paragraph, and line structure
3. Fully functional footnotes/endnotes
4. No hidden overlay images or OCR artifacts
