2-Up A4 Book Imposition

I have a set of A4 PDFs, each running well past the 100-page mark, that now need to be converted into a single press-ready file laid out 2-up in a regular book fold. Pagination must remain perfect throughout so that once the printer trims and folds, every page falls in the correct order.

You’ll receive the original PDFs and a brief sheet with trim, bleed and gutter specs from the printer. Your job is to:

• Impose the pages 2-up for standard book work (not calendar or magazine style).
• Preserve existing bleeds and add registration, crop marks and color bars exactly where the printer requests.
• Return a single high-resolution, press-ready PDF plus a low-res proof for quick review.

Adobe Acrobat, Quite Imposing, Kodak Preps, or any comparable imposition tool is fine as long as the final file passes the printer’s pre-flight. I’ll run a spot check on page order and marks; once everything lines up, the job is complete and approved for print.
