I need a lightweight PDF editor that lets me open an existing PDF, click into any text block, make plain-text changes, and save the file back to PDF. No rich formatting tools, annotations, form-filling, or image handling are required for this first release—just straightforward text editing.
I have a PDF that needs very precise numerical adjustments. Font, spacing, alignment, and any embedded features have to look exactly as they did before the change—no visual cues that anything was altered.
You should feel comfortable working directly in PDF (Adobe Acrobat, Foxit, or similar), maintaining identical resolution and pagination, and returning a clean, flattened file that passes casual inspection. If recalculating running totals is required, handle those figures as well so everything stays consistent.
Deliverables:
