Accurate Data Entry & Conversion

I have a backlog of text-based information that needs to be moved from existing PDFs into clean, well-organized spreadsheets and, where useful, into a simple database. Your job starts with carefully extracting the text, structuring it logically, and then double-checking every field for data consistency before handing the files back to me.

The bulk of the source material is PDF, so you’ll need a solid workflow for converting those documents without introducing errors. OCR tools such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, ABBYY FineReader, or an equivalent are fine—as long as the end result is reliably searchable text that matches the original.

Once the data is in spreadsheet form, please normalise column headers, eliminate duplicates, and run basic cross-checks to ensure that values that should line up actually do. I’m not concerned about spelling or layout quirks; consistency across records is what matters here.

Deliverables
• A fully populated spreadsheet (Excel or Google Sheets) containing the extracted text data
• An optional SQLite or CSV export of the same dataset if you feel it aids integrity checks
• A brief log noting any anomalies you found and how you resolved them
