I have just wrapped up my MCA final-year project—an Employee Management System built as a C# desktop application running on SQL Server—and I want to take it from “works on my machine” to production-ready quality. The core modules already track employee profiles, salary details, working hours, and basic reports; however, the code still needs a final sweep for optimisation, bug fixes, and a cleaner installer experience.
Here’s what I need from you:
• Refactor the existing C# solution (WinForms) for readability and maintainability without changing functionality.
• Identify and squash any remaining bugs or unhandled exceptions, especially around salary calculations and overtime tracking.
• Create reliable SQL Server scripts for database setup, including sample seed data.
• Package the application into a straightforward Windows installer and write a concise user guide (PDF) that covers installation, initial configuration, and daily use.
Comfort with Visual Studio, ADO.NET, is essential. Once finished, I should be able to hand the installer and guide to anyone and have them up and running in minutes.
