Startup Permit & Admin Assistant
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m gearing up to launch a new food-focused venture ( Food Truck) and the to-do list is taller than the prep table. Top of the pile is securing every permit and license we need—business, health & safety, and trade—so we can open with total peace of mind. While that’s the first milestone, you’ll also help me tame vendor contracts, track budgets, and keep an eye on health-code paperwork as we move along.
You’ll thrive here if mountains of forms don’t scare you, deadlines make you sharper, and a blank spreadsheet feels like a playground. Attention to detail is absolutely non-negotiable; a missed signature or wrong filing fee can stall the whole launch. I’m on site most afternoons, but hours are flexible and can grow from part-time into a fuller schedule as the opening date gets closer. Pay is solid, the vibe is relaxed, and yes—tasting the menu is part of the deal.
Acceptance criteria for each phase:
• Permits & licenses filed, paid, and approved with receipts archived in our shared drive
• Vendor agreements summarized in one master sheet, key dates and renewal terms flagged
• Budget tracker updated weekly, highlighting variances and cash-flow pinch points
If you can juggle these tasks without dropping a cell in the spreadsheet, let’s get this paperwork party started.
We have a month! Let’s go!
