Part-Time Personal Assistant / House Helper
Budget: $22 – $28 USD
I am seeking a reliable, organized part-time personal assistant/house helper to support ongoing household projects and daily tasks in a private home.
This role is best suited for someone who enjoys hands-on, project-based work, can work independently, and is comfortable adapting as priorities change. It may be a great fit for a community college or graduate student, or anyone seeking consistent part-time daytime work.
Schedule
2 weekdays per week (flexible scheduling)
4–6 hours per day
Daytime availability required (generally before 5:00 PM)
Responsibilities May Include
Light housekeeping and general tidying
Laundry and home organization
Running local errands
Grocery shopping and occasional light meal prep
Assisting with household organization projects (garage, bedrooms, kitchen, storage areas)
Lifting and moving household items (up to 50 lbs)
Navigating stairs regularly
Working in a home with cats
Projects vary week to week and may include longer-term organizing and decluttering efforts.
Pay
$22–$28 per hour, based on experience
Paid weekly
Requirements
Trustworthy, dependable, and discreet
Self-motivated with a positive attitude
Comfortable working independently and adapting to changing priorities
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and use stairs
Comfortable around cats
Reliable transportation required
Willing to sign a basic NDA
Able to work as a 1099 independent contractor (if applicable)
