US English accent UA needed
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
Project is quite simple, but its also quite different than "basic" AI learning recordings. You need 2-3 recording devices, with 3 devices work takes under 30min and with 2 devices it takes under 60min.
3 DEVICE SETUP:
- Device 1, you keep this device on your hand while STANDING and record (continous record) all 540 sentences (keep script open in this device so its easy to read). This device should be kept 12-20 inch (30-50cm) away from your mouth to avoid mic picking up your breathing etc.
- Device 2, this device is placed 5 feet (1.5 meters) away from you at 5 feet (1.5m) height from floor, continous record of all 540 sentences.
- Device 3, this device is placed 11.5 feet (3.5 meters) away from you at 5 feet (1.5m) height from floor and same thing, continous record of all 540 sentences
2 DEVICE SETUP:
- You need to record twice the 540 sentences, use the 2nd device to record first at 5 feet (1.5 meters) and then again at 11.5 feet (3.5 meters). 1st device is used to record the handheld recording and to read the script.
1. Devices are preferred to be mobile phones, BUT if you have QUALITY tablets and/or laptops, you can use those too. Cheap models have bad mics and those arent accepted. REQUIREMENT for audio is .WAV files and 44.1khz. You can for example use free app called "easy recorder" on android and on iphone "easy voice recorder" (both can be found on the app stores), with these you can select the required settings (.wav / 44.1khz). For Windows / macOS there is tons of free recording software that support these settings.
2. (OPTIONAL) Record few sentences or just free speech with your 3 device system and send files to me so i can check that the quality is ok. But if you are sure you can deliver ok quality recordings, you can just skip this phase.
3. Start recording on all devices, open script on device 1 (on your hand), read all 540 sentences in higher than normal voice (not yelling) and normal speed. Recording conditions need to be SILENT , no background noise.
4. "Normal" recording rules, silent background, no extra noises (re-record sentence if you make an extra noise or some other error occurs, clap your hands to mark the error spot)
5. Speak in higher volume than normally (check the demo wav files attached to this post). Speak/read in normal speed, not too fast, not too slow. Dont read one word at a time, read naturally like you were reading a magazine/book.
6. Send audio file from all 3 devices (3 audio files) to me and thats it, project completed.
7. FAST PAYMENT, 3-4 working days! (After you deliver the 3 audio files)
8. If there is errors any errors in your recording, e.g. you notice you misread a word or you cough or make any other extra noise, CLAP your hands once and read the sentence again (clap works as a marking for client when they process your audios that there was a mistake right here)
Script (English_540.xlsx) attached to this post, also 3 SAMPLE AUDIOS attached so you can hear what kind of quality the client is expecting (Note the sample speaking volume, they are speaking in higher volume and this is required, but no yelling)
