Bookkeeping & Internal Email Oversight
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m looking for support that blends solid bookkeeping with attentive management of my team’s internal emails.
On the accounting side, you’ll take charge of day-to-day bookkeeping in the software we already have in place—Official Mail—ensuring every transaction is logged accurately, accounts stay current, and monthly figures are ready for review without me chasing them. You’ll be the first to spot discrepancies and raise a flag before they snowball.
Equally important is keeping our internal inbox flowing smoothly. You’ll monitor staff messages, sort and label threads by urgency or department, draft or send follow-ups when I’m unavailable, and maintain a clear archive so nothing slips through the cracks.
Success for me looks like this:
• All bookkeeping entries up to date and error-free by the agreed weekly cut-off
• A reconciled snapshot ready at month-end that I can forward straight to my accountant
• An organized inbox where high-priority conversations are surfaced promptly and every email receives a response (or at least an acknowledgment) within 24 hours
If you’re detail-oriented, comfortable with Official Mail, and proactive about tidy records and tidy communication, I’d love to hear how you would approach the first week on the job.
