Administrative Assistant (ET)
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I’m looking for a long-term assistant who can keep my inbox under control and make sure nothing slips through the cracks while I work on higher-level tasks. Your main responsibility will be research and data entry possibly managing emails and general correspondence. That means:
• Organising and categorising every incoming message so I can locate information instantly.
• Proactively sending reminders and follow-ups to the right people at the right time, in my voice and with flawless English.
Most of this work happens during U.S. Eastern Time business hours, so consistent availability then is essential. You’ll be working on a Windows or Mac computer with Microsoft Word and Excel open alongside email; I use both programs daily and will share templates you’re free to improve - proficiency with both applications is important.
Research and data management also comes up regularly—primarily hunting down accurate contact information for stakeholders or sources I need to reach and creating Excel sheets. If you happen to understand basic accounting principles or keep up with U.S. politics, you’ll find a lot of our conversations and background docs easier to digest, though those areas aren’t strict requirements.
What matters most is that you are:
• Detail-oriented: typos, missed threads and forgotten follow-ups aren’t an option.
• An excellent written communicator with clear, idiomatic American-style English.
• Comfortable juggling multiple tasks and sorting rules without getting flustered.
• Ready to learn my preferences quickly and suggest process tweaks once you see opportunities.
If this sounds like the kind of ongoing collaboration you enjoy, let me know your typical ET working window and a short note on how you keep email workflows organised.
