Accounts Department Administrative Assistant

Administrative Assistant for the Accounts Department plays a vital role in supporting financial operations by managing administrative and accounting-related tasks. This position ensures accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in day-to-day financial processes while providing critical support to accountants and finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
Process invoices, receipts, and payments; assist with accounts payable and receivable.
Perform data entry, reconcile accounts, and maintain accurate financial records.
Assist with bank reconciliations, monthly reporting, and preparation of financial statements.
Schedule meetings, manage calendars for finance managers, and coordinate travel arrangements.
Handle office correspondence, sort and distribute mail, and manage office supplies.
Prepare reports, budgets, and spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks, or other accounting software.
Ensure confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive financial data.
Liaise with internal departments (HR, procurement, IT) and external vendors or auditors.
Assist with internal and external audits by organizing documentation and supporting records.
