Job Description – Licensed Land Surveyor (Melbourne)
I’m seeking a qualified and registered land surveyor who can attend site in Hamlyn Heights (Geelong, VIC) to provide a feature & level survey with boundary re-establishment for a proposed front fence and retaining wall.
Project context:
• Retaining wall height: approx. 300–500 mm (runs along front boundary).
• Fence height: 1.8 m timber/cladding fence directly above the wall.
• Structure is located on the front boundary – drawings and engineering will be based on your survey.
• A soil report and preliminary CAD drawings/renders are already available.
• Survey information is required for the structural engineer and building permit application with Council.
Deliverables:
• Full feature & level survey of the site frontage, showing:
• Accurate boundary location (title re-establishment, pegged if required).
• Natural ground levels (RLs/contours) across frontage and into site as needed.
• Relative levels of adjoining features (footpath, street, neighbouring fences/buildings).
• Street context (sufficient detail for Council sightline/street character assessment).
• Survey drawings provided in CAD (DWG) + PDF format, suitable for engineering and council submission.
• Certificate of survey by a licensed/registered surveyor.
Requirements:
• Must be a qualified, licensed surveyor in Victoria.
• Able to attend site in Geelong within a reasonable timeframe.
• Provide a clear quote and estimated turnaround.
