URGENT: Fix Windows Server 2016 RDS NetLogon Authentication Issues

Job ID: 39681624

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

Project Description:
We are experiencing a critical issue with our Windows Server 2016 Remote Desktop Services (RDS) environment that is preventing users from connecting reliably. I need an experienced Windows Server expert to diagnose and resolve this problem ASAP – before 5 PM Central Time (US) today.

? Environment:
RDS Server: Windows Server 2016 (standalone)

Domain Controller: Windows Server 2016 Active Directory

? Problem Summary:
Users are unable to connect to the RDS server.

Event logs are showing NetLogon errors repeatedly:

Event ID 3210

Event ID 5816

Event ID 5817

Restarting the NetLogon service temporarily resolves the issue for ~1 minute, then it fails again.

The RDS server seems to lose trust with the domain intermittently.

Errors are continuous, causing major access disruptions.

? Troubleshooting Done So Far:
Restarted NetLogon service multiple times – temporarily fixes issue.

Verified DNS and AD connectivity.

Confirmed time sync between servers.

Checked DFSR, replication, and domain controller health.

Reviewed logs, including:

repadmin /replsummary

Event Viewer logs under NetLogon and Directory Services

Validated system time and secure channel status.

All signs point to a trust or authentication issue between RDS and the domain.

? What I Need:
A seasoned Windows Server expert who can:

Analyze the root cause of the NetLogon failures.

Restore consistent and stable authentication for RDS connections.

Ensure the RDS server is fully rejoined or trusted within the domain.

Review and resolve any lingering AD/DNS/DFSR issues.

Potentially work with RDP Gateway/NPS if applicable.

? Deadline:
Must be completed before 5 PM Central Time (US) – today
