Server 2016 Setup
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
Server 2016 set up with proper group and security policies. One super admin and rest all nested under it.
The total number of Users in the current AD is ~50.
User wise restrictions relating to
1. Data access, new folder, or network share
2. No External storage
3. Limit application use for 3rdparty applications (eg. anydesk)
4. Restriction on change of settings (eg. from the control panel, running command prompt, internet proxy settings etc)
5. Company sanctioned wallpaper
6. Download/upload of big files
7. No new software installation allowed to users
8. A default startup application different for users of different ACL (for eg tally for accounts personal)
9. Password policy
10. Limit/assign the specific printers to a specific set of users (ACL).
Also, other standard policies were deployed for security.
All applications including MS Office working properly with all users after setting up of these policies
