Domain Migration and Server Upgrade

My production environment is running entirely on Windows servers, and I am ready to modernise it by moving everything to Windows Server 2022. Alongside the operating-system upgrade I also need a clean domain migration and a fresh fleet of virtual machines—some on-prem in my existing virtualisation stack, others in AWS.

Here is what I expect back from you:

• Migrate the current Active Directory domain to a new Windows Server 2022 forest or domain, preserving all users, groups, GPOs, DNS and DHCP settings.
• Upgrade or rebuild any remaining Windows workloads so every server is on Windows Server 2022 once the project is complete.
• Spin up the required VMs locally (Hyper-V or VMware) and create the matching EC2 instances in AWS, ensuring identical networking, security groups and IAM roles where applicable.
• Validate that all authentication, file shares and line-of-business applications function the same—or better—after cut-over.
• Provide concise documentation covering the new domain, server builds, AWS configuration and rollback steps.

I have licences for Windows Server 2022 ready and AWS accounts with appropriate permissions already in place. You can recommend tooling—PowerShell, AWS CLI, System Center, etc.—as long as it speeds things up and keeps the process auditable.

Once everything is stable in production, a short knowledge-transfer session and a final report will serve as acceptance criteria.
