Consolidate Domains in Microsoft 365
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I already pay for Microsoft 365 but only part of my email environment is actually sitting there. One domain lives in Google Workspace, a second one was bought through Square Up, and Outlook is currently sending from the original address even though I want the secondary domain to show up on every message my team sends.
What I need is a clean, single-tenant setup inside Microsoft 365 that:
• brings both domains under the subscription,
• sets the secondary Square Up domain as the default sender so it appears in every user’s “From” line,
• keeps the original Google domain as an alias so nothing breaks,
• updates DNS (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC) so mail flow and deliverability stay solid,
• provisions the new primary address for each team member (several mailboxes), and
• switches my website to the secondary domain once email is stable.
You’ll work in the Microsoft 365 admin center, Exchange Online, and our DNS hosts to finish the consolidation. Guidance on cut-over timing, user communication, and any Outlook profile tweaks is appreciated so the whole change feels invisible to my staff.
