Park Bench Stories: Conceptual Photography
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I’m creating a conceptual photography project centered around a single park bench and the stories that pass through it. I’m looking for a variety of people to portray short, natural moments that could happen in public space. The tone is candid and cinematic think quiet moments that feel real, not staged “posing.”
What I need
I’m looking for individuals or pairs who are comfortable acting out simple, natural scenes such as:
• an older man sitting alone, reading or thinking
• a couple sharing a sweet moment
• a couple in the middle of an argument
• two friends laughing together
• someone scrolling on their phone, waiting for someone
• someone crying softly or looking overwhelmed
• someone painting, writing, journaling
• someone feeding birds or eating lunch
• any everyday human moment you’d naturally see on a bench
You don’t need acting experience, just comfort with expressive, natural behaviour.
Details
• The shoot is outdoors on a park bench in London
• Each scene takes about 20–30 minutes
• Paid per session (rate depends on role: solo, couple, or special scene)
• You’ll receive a set of images of your session for your own use
Looking for
• 18+, genders, backgrounds
• Real couples and friends welcome
• Individuals with expressive energy or interesting presence
• People open to small creative direction
If you’re interested, send a quick message with:
1. A photo or description of yourself (or you + partner/friend if applying as a pair)
2. Which type of scene you’d be open to
3. Your availability over the next week
Paid per scene: solo subjects £15–25, couples £25–35. Total project budget approx. £100–200 depending on number of participants.
Let’s create something memorable and visually honest together.
