Black Male Stage Actor Needed
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’ve written two contemporary stage plays, a drama and a country western comedy for this weekend and I need a reliable Black male actor in his 30s-40s to step into a key supporting role in both productions. The stage plays are 19 June (Friday) and 20 June (Saturday), so the ability to absorb dialogue and blocking at speed is essential—most of your lines overlap between the plays, but timing and emotional beats differ, so quick retention and adaptability will be tested.
Both scripts are one-act, character-driven stage plays, no musical numbers or broad comedy bits to worry about. You’ll be sharing the stage with a seasoned ensemble and a director who values collaboration. Expect everything to move quickly, but the director will make sure you have all the necessities to perform exceptionally well in both plays.
I need to meet with you Thursday, 18 June as early as possible so that we can go over both scrips and you can be sized for your costumes.
